Dan was trained as a polymer scientist with a specialty in surface chemistry and adhesion.  He worked in Kodak Research labs  starting in 1983 as a digital printing scientist and R&D Lab Head.  In 1998 he joined International Imaging Materials (IIMAK) as VP of R&D and then Chief Technology Officer.  In 2022 he founded Digital Imaging Materials Consultancy where he assists clients with their technical and R&D leadership needs
